Changes of the Media Passphrase for a given removable device are not updated on the device. The issue is only visible when using the SGPortable application to access encrypted files on machines without SafeGuard Enterprise Data Exchange. If SafeGuard LAN Crypt 3.90 is installed in combination with SafeGuard Enterprise 6.00.x, a corruption of the SafeGuard LocalCache structure can occur when upgrading the SafeGuard Enterprise Client to 6.10.x.372. The LocalCache corruption can be prevented when the upgrade is performed using a Windows Installer Transform file for the SafeGuard Enterprise 6.10.0.372 Client, that is attached in this Knowledgebase article.
